INTERVIEW
Circular habits: How to save natural resources
In the developed countries, too much resources are thrown away.
In this video, chef cooks from Ukraine, Moldova and Nigeria give their tips on how to cook sustainably to save natural resources, time and money.

Module 1.1.
Circular fashion
LECTURE 1
Building the circular fashion system
The fashion sector is responsible for nearly 20% of all industrial water pollution annually. The fashion industry is responsible for 10% of the green gas emissions.
We don’t need that much stuff! All we need is durable products that withstand the wear and tear and are made from materials that are easily recycled.

MINI LECTURE 1.1
The fashion monster
Millions of tonnes of clothes end up in landfill every year—it’s one of the fastest-growing categories of waste in the world. How can the fashion industry continue to grow while addressing the environmental need for people to buy fewer clothes?

EXAMPLE
Circular fashion brand
What if we all clean up our own mess? This simple idea was the start of the MUD way of thinking: This is the circular economy!
MUD Jeans allows customers to shop guilt free and do good for the environment, while looking fashionable and modern

ADDITIONAL READING
What is greenwashing?
Greenwashing is a marketing strategy that makes consumers believe that certain products are good for environment, while in reality they are not. Young educated consumers with high environmental awareness are more likely to fall into the trap of greenwashing, especially when it comes to fashion items.

Module 1.2.
Circular food
LECTURE 2
Building the circular food system
The food system is responsible for one-third of global greenhouse gas emissions resulting from human activity. One third of the food that is produced globally is wasted.
We need to transform the way we eat and consume our food.

MINI LECTURE 2.1
Healthy and sustainable diet
Can we feed a future population of 10 billion people a healthy diet within planetary boundaries?
The answer is yes, but we it will be impossible without transforming eating habits, improving food production and reducing food waste.

MINI LECTURE 2.2
Changing the food system
